Aaron Turamye is the Director of Resource Mobilisation at the University of Kigali, bringing over 17 years of cross-functional expertise in sales, marketing, human resources management, business banking, insurance and hospitatlity management.

Professional Experience

Throughout his career, Aaron has held senior roles in HR and business sectors, particularly in banking. His key areas of expertise include:

• Capacity Building: Developing programs in HR Management, Banking, Marketing, Customer Care, and Hospitality.
• Professional Training: Delivering specialized training in HR Management, Organizational Development, Banking, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Customer Care, and Hospitality.
• Business Planning: Crafting business plans for various companies.
• Grant Proposal Writing: Securing funding through detailed proposals.
• Manual Development: Creating HR, Financial, and Procurement manuals.
• Mentorship: Guiding business incubators and SMEs.

Aaron’s comprehensive experience and multi-faceted skills make him a valuable asset to the University of Kigali and the IDRI Team.

With close to 7 years in Academia and Finance, CPA. Dorcas Kamau is currently serving as Director of International Affairs and Partnerships (DIAP), University of Kigali. She is at the forefront of our institution’s global engagement endeavors, facilitating connections and collaborations across borders. Her primary responsibility revolves around identifying, fostering and nurturing partnerships with institutions worldwide to drive forward academic information, research, faculty and student exchange initiatives. Through strategic planning and relationship-building, she works to expand our network of international collaboration, and strengthen existing partnerships, enabling our University to have a broader global impact.

She previously worked as an ACCA and Executive Programme Manager, and specialized in lecturing and tutoring ACCA, HND BTEC Pearson courses, and ABE programs at different International Schools. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from KCA University, with prior industry experience in both Finance and Accounting.
